Cassie Steele is best known as the character Manny Santos from the Canadian television show Degrassi: The Next Generation, but for those who may not know, she is also a very talented singer/songwriter.

And that is what this fanlisting is for, Cassie Steele, the musician. There is already a fanlisting for her as an actress.

Cassie Steele released her debut album How Much For Happy in 2005 and was certified gold in Canada. She wrote 12 out of 13 songs on the album, with one cover of Jimi Hendrix's Hey Joe. Her second album released in 2009 Destructo Doll is "more her baby" as she states on her official website. She admits she hadn't had much life experience at the time her first album was released, and so her second album is more of her and her life.

Her style is definitely rock, she has some awesome songs, hard and ballad. Her voice is amazingly raw and confident. When I purchased her first album I was pleasantly surprised. Her songs were so bold and amazing. I instantly fell in love with it. And her second album is more of the same and then some. She has grown lyrically, but you still get the feel of who she really is, rock & roll.
