   This is the song that started every wonderful episode of our favorite show The Golden Girls. It's perfect for the show because the heart of it is their close family-like friendship.

   If you're a watcher of the reruns you may notice some things... There are three different versions of the theme played.

   The short version is just the first stanza with the credits opening with the scene of the city of Miami.

   The medium version plays the song the whole way through and the credits start with the airplane in the sunset.

   The long version plays the song the whole way through and repeats the second stanza, the credits also start with the airplane in the sunset.
