The movie centered around Louise Miller, a geek, out of style, quiet, and wanting more... She gets her wish when she turns 16, and learns from a fortune teller (and witch), that she is in fact a witch too. Louise doesn't believe this of course. But strange things begin happening...
At the time Teen Witch didn't receive much support, it didn't gross well at the box office, and it quickly seemed to be flop. But it gained a cult following over the years, playing in various theaters where fans proclaimed they've seen the movie 100s of times.
Because of this following a musical was adapted from the movie, featuring some of the same songs from the movie as well as new hits.
